Quick and easy homemade pizza

Ingredients: Dough base

120 grams flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon fast-rise yeast
250 ml water (45°C)
1 tablespoon oil

Ingredients: Topping

60 ml tomato sauce
1 teaspoon Italian herb mix
0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch of salt and pepper
120 grams pepperoni slices
80 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
80 grams shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  • In large bowl, mix flour, one teaspoon of salt, sugar and yeast. Mix water and oil, then add to flour mixture.

  • Turn dough onto floured surface and knead for 2 minutes.

  • Place dough in a greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.

  • Once rested, uncover and punch down dough. Place on 30 cm greased pizza pan and shape into a circle.

  • In a bowl, mix tomato sauce, Italian herb mix, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Spread tomato sauce mixture over dough base and crust evenly.

  • Place a few pepperoni slices on top of sauce and sprinkle with ½ the mozzarella, ½ the cheddar, and ½ the parmesan. Place the rest of the pepperoni on and repeat the cheese layer.

  • Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes or until light brown.
